Alida Morgan is one of a dozen artists exhibiting in "Art as Teacher," the community show opening today, May 11, at the Artisan Depot Gallery & Gift Shop, 204 Cumberland St. in Cowan, Tenn.

A reception honoring the artists will be held Friday, May 12, 5-7 p.m.
CDT in the gallery, open to the community.
Hours for viewing the works are noon-5 p.m. CDT Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. CDT Saturdays through June 18.
