Chattanooga State Community College's Humanities and Fine Arts Department is hosting several fine arts events this month; among them, a Faculty Arts Exhibition featuring Michael Largent.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 25, through Oct. 27, Largent will present his Visual Arts Thesis Show, "Reconsidering Residuum," in Chattanooga State's Humanities Gallery. Admission is free.

This collection of photo-based images explores the redemption of the residual waste of the commercial print manufacturing process. His medium is digital printing of pigmented inks on acrylic and Dibond aluminum.

An opening reception for "Reconsidering Residuum" will be held Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. at the college on Amnicola Highway.
