Truett S. Beasley Jr. - better known by stage name Killer Beaz - was a guest star in Season 3 of the Discovery Channel series "Moonshiners," and has a new video series of clean comedy, "Killer Beaz Presents," that features the stand-up comedy of Beaz and comics handpicked from across the country.

Over three decades, he has made thousands of radio, TV and stage appearances. On the 1996 album "NASCAR: Hotter Than Asphalt," Killer Beaz recorded "Save Up," backed by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Now "Save Up!" has become his signature catchphrase.

Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 7-9, local fans can catch him onstage at The Comedy Catch, 1400 Market St.

Tickets are $15 for Thursday's show at 7:30. Tickets are $20 for either the 7:30 or 9:45 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday.

* Bridgette Martin will host a comedy benefit at The Comedy Catch on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

"Stand Up for KW Cares" will help fund the East Brainerd branch of KW Cares. KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families who are coping with hardships as a result of a sudden emergency.

This benefit will feature a hilarious night of laughter with comedians Mikah Wyman Stuible and Chris Killian, both from Nashville, and Greg Behrens from Atlanta.
