Dancers from Dalton, Georgia, will take their audiences on a trip around the world when they present "Pack Your Passports!" in performances this weekend.

On Friday, May 10, the Creative Arts Guild and Ballet Dalton will present a Spring Dance Concert at 7 p.m. in Dalton High School Theater, 1500 Manly St.

Ballet Dalton, Intermediate 3, Intermediate 4 and the Guild Dance Ensemble will perform. A reception will follow.

On Saturday, May 11, all Guild dance program students will perform in a spring recital at 1 and 4 p.m. in Dalton High School Theater.

Each year's concert and recital share a theme and feature ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary and hip-hop dance styles.

"We have had so much fun developing the theme of this year's production," says Dance Director Jessie Fincher.

"'Pack Your Passports!' will take you on a trip around the world with stops in countries with famous sights and locales. So, pack your bags, get your tickets and join us on our journey."

Tickets for the Friday evening concert are $15 adults, $10 for students and senior citizens.

Saturday's recital tickets are $5.

Tickets can be purchased on the Creative Arts Guild website, www.creativeartsguild.org, and at facility locations. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
