The School of Visual Art and Design at Southern Adventist University will host the opening of "From the Floor to the Wall," an exhibit by artist Isaac Duncan III, Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in Brock Hall on the Collegedale campus.
His sculptures are in the John C. Williams Art Gallery, and will remain on display through Dec. 2.
Duncan is an accomplished sculptor from Brooklyn, New York, currently based in Chattanooga. He has his own studio, Duncan Sculpture and Services, and is past president of the Mid-South Sculpture Alliance. He is active in the Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Arts Education Funds for At-Risk Youth.
