'The Lion in Winter' opens this Friday in Dalton

"The Lion in Winter" will open Friday, Nov. 1, at Dalton Little Theatre for four performances at the theater, 210 N. Pentz St., Dalton, Georgia.

Show times are 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 1-2; and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 2-3.

Written by James Goldman, "The Lion in Winter" is a tale of sibling rivalry, adultery and dungeons. Comedic in tone, but dramatic in action, "The Lion in Winter" tells the story of the Plantagenet family, locked in a free-for-all of competing ambitions to inherit a kingdom.

The play is directed by Melissa Adams.

Tickets are $12 adults, $10 students.
