Comedian Jeff D has brought houses down all over the country with his Southern-style humor, riotous stories, hilarious characters and satiric point of view. Whether in a West Coast club or an all-you-can-eat buffet in Des Moines, Iowa, Jeff D knows how to connect with his audiences.
He brings his stand-up act to the stage of The Comedy Catch, 1400 Market St., Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 8.
Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, the comedian moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and spent years finding his voice on stages there, including The Ice House in Pasadena, The Improv in Hollywood and The Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip.
He now resides in New Orleans, where he's an actor, writer and a well-known face in the city's performing arts scene. He was named "Best of the Fest" at the Burbank Comedy Festival in 2018.
Shows are Thursday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m., when tickets are $11. Tickets are $16 for either the 7:30 or 9:45 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday
