Two comedy shows are scheduled at The Comedy Catch, 1400 Market St., this weekend.
The first, Eric Foster and Friends, is Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m.
Headliner Mike James will be joined by Dick Dickerson and Cocoa Speakz in a show hosted by Foster.
Tickets are $15.
Reno Collier brings his stand-up act to town Friday-Sunday, Sept. 27-29.
Collier's list of national tours looks like a comedian's wish list. He joined Larry The Cable Guy in 2004 on the hugely successful Tour of America, followed by theater and arena tours with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White. In January 2007, he rejoined Larry the Cable Guy for an arena tour spanning the United States and Canada.
In 2005 and 2006, Collier headlined the Comics on Duty tour for American troops stationed in Iraq. He is a regular fixture on the Bob & Tom syndicated radio show and Country Music Television, hosting various specials for the network. In 2005, he taped his own "Comedy Central Presents" special, and he was the host of NBC's 2009 family reality show "Great American Road Trip."
He can currently be heard during weekly call-ins to the Blue Collar Comedy Channel on Sirius satellite radio.
Tickets are $16 for 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. shows either Friday or Saturday. Tickets are $11 for the 7:30 p.m. show Sunday.
