Georgia Winery hosting Hallowine celebration

Halloween will be pronounced "Hallowine" this weekend at the Georgia Winery, 6469 Battlefield Parkway, Ringgold. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, visitors can join in a day of candy, treats and spooky decorations. Costumes are encouraged. The day marks the release of two specialty Halloween wines: Hallowine, described as a "sinfully sweet" blackberry muscadine, and Witches' Brew, a "frightfully good" mulled concord. Witches' Brew is the basis of a mulled brew to enjoy at home. Each wine will be available for tasting and purchase, along with other award-winning wines. Admission is free.
