Make life easier on you and your family this holiday by letting Famous Dave's do the work.

"Did you decide to host a last-minute gathering of friends and family? Famous Dave's to the rescue. Famous Dave's offers an assortment of finger foods designed to tickle your taste buds," said Tamara Lister, owner of the Gunbarrel Road restaurant.

"Try our BBQ Wings tossed in your favorite sauce and ready to travel on a convenient serving tray."

St. Louis-style spareribs are also a party pleaser if you're feeding a crowd or just have a hungry crew. They're easy to eat with your fingers and a have great flavor.

Burnt Ends and Burnt Buttz, two of the restaurant's pitmaster favorites, can be great additions as well since they're both bite-size and delicious, giving you a great appetizer for a pre-Christmas meal or fun party add-on.

Of course, if you're looking to find a way to feed the masses at home during all your errand running and Christmas wrapping, barbecue from Famous Dave's can be a great option.

"We can help you determine how many pounds you'll need for your crowd, but it's a very affordable option for feeding your crew," Lister noted. "Add some buns and sides, and everyone is happy.

"We've been in Chattanooga for 15 years and have provided many Christmas Eve dinners for folks who don't want a traditional turkey and ham dinner for that special night."

However, if traditional is more to your taste, Famous Dave's can accommodate that. The smoked turkey and double-smoked holiday hams truly earn their "famous" name. Those interested in doing a traditional dinner need to plan ahead and get orders in by today, Dec. 20, to be sure the Famous Dave's crew will have them ready for your Christmas Eve pickup.

If you don't feel up to entertaining at home this year, bringing the party to Famous Dave's may be your ticket out.

"We have some limited reservations available for large parties," Lister said. "Our new smoked turkey breast platters and sandwiches have that 'holiday feel,' and if you have a few non-barbecue fans — perish the thought — our cedar-plank-smoked salmon will rescue your plans."

As a reminder, if you're meeting friends for an early holiday treat this weekend, the smoked ribeye dinners are a great choice. These are available on weekends while supplies last. The pitmasters smoke the loins and then grill up 12-ounces of deliciousness for each order. They are served with a piping-hot loaded baked potato and a side salad.

"It's a great way to get the holiday weekend started, and we would love to see you," Lister said.
