With 2019 fresh out of the gate, Julie Hudson and daughter Shelby are bringing some new flavors and specials to dining options at Track's End Restaurant. The two women have been running the establishment as a team for six years.

"We're starting off with Taco Tuesday specials and All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fridays," Julie said. "We're continuing to offer something for everyone with great variety."

Taco Tuesday's deal includes three tacos - your choice of beef, steak or chicken - served with Spanish rice and refried beans. Prices range from $6.99 to $8.99. Guests can also enjoy some of the team's homemade pico de gallo. Additionally, diners can look for fish tacos to be added to the Taco Tuesday deal in coming months.

Fish Friday offers the restaurant's classic catfish served in either a plate option of five pieces of fish and two hush puppies with fries and coleslaw for $8.99, or an all-you-can-eat portion for $2 more with the same great fixings.

"Our hush puppies are homemade. We make our own batter for all the fish, and they're hand-battered," Shelby said.

Also new to the menu for breakfast are French toast sticks that are full of all the sticky goodness and sweetness you would expect from the classic kid favorite.

Patrons can enjoy the entire Track's End menu all day, every day. It features a wide variety of meals from comfort foods such as meat and potatoes to more heart-healthy choices such as chef salad. Specials through the week are also available any time until they sell out.

"We're here all the time," said Julie. "We're even here on Christmas."

On the lunch side, soup and sandwiches continue to be fan favorites, they say. Burgers are also a hot item, as they're all hand-patted and pack a punch of beefy goodness that's hard to come by. Other popular lunch choices include a meaty taco salad and the lighter grilled-chicken breast fillet.

Guests can feel free to stop in and dine anytime, or call ahead for their favorite take-out order to grab on the way home after a long day.
