Mission BBQ, 1926 Gunbarrel Road, wraps up its Military Appreciation Days on Saturday, May 18, with Lunch with the Heroes.
To celebrate Armed Forces Week, May 13-18, and in honor of upcoming Memorial Day, the barbecue restaurant has recognized a different service branch each day this week with a free thank-you sandwich: the Army on Monday, Marine Corps on Tuesday, Navy on Wednesday, Air Force on Thursday and Coast Guard on Friday.
On Saturday, all active duty military and veterans are invited to Mission BBQ between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., where they will receive a free sandwich (sides and drink are additional.)
Join the Mission crew and other diners for the playing of the national anthem at noon.
