The Metropolitan Bells, a community handbell ensemble, will offer its final concert of the season at 7:30 tonight, Dec. 15, at Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Ave.
The auditioned ringers perform on seven octaves of Malmark bells and seven octaves of Malmark choir chimes.
The group was led for 10 years by Ken Cochrane, who established the group in 1993 to bring advanced sacred and secular handbell music to the community and promote the art of handbell ringing. The group is currently under the direction of Gary Bynum.
Admission to the concert is free, though donations are welcome.
