Peter Cooper, interim dean of the School of Music at Southern Adventist University, will perform works by Bach, Rochberg, Liszt and Brahms in a piano recital on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Ackerman Auditorium on the SAU campus in Collegedale.
Cooper has been a member of the music faculty since 2006, teaching piano, music theory and counterpoint.
He says he is committed to making his recitals complete experiences for his audiences by sharing great music as well as information about the composers, their style and the historical and compositional context of each work.
The recital is free and open to the public.
