Amy Grant will present an acoustic show in which she shares stories behind the songs she performs at An Evening with Amy Grant, a benefit dinner and concert for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, on Saturday, June 17, at McMinn County High School, 2215 Congress Parkway, in Athens, Tenn. The Christian/pop crossover artist has six Grammy Awards, three multiplatinum albums, six platinum albums and four gold albums that have produced 17 singles on the Top 40 Adult Contemporary chart. Her single, "Baby, Baby," was her first solo No. 1 and topped charts for two weeks. Tickets are $25 for the program only, which starts at 7 p.m.; dinner tickets are no longer available.
