Nighthawks performing at Baylor School benefit

Baylor School will hold its 17th annual Midwinter Night's Blast benefit concert on Monday, Feb. 12, and Wednesday, Feb. 14, featuring The Nighthawks, a group of faculty, student and guest musicians. Both shows start at 7 p.m. in Roddy Theater on the Baylor campus.

The Nighthawks include faculty members Bernard Fertal (bass and vocals), Takisha Haynie (lead vocals), John Lecce (guitar and vocals), Kenneth Parks (keyboards and vocals) and Pete Robinson (guitar and lead vocals) as well as guest musicians Burnard Tate (drums) and Frank Bumpass (saxophone). Baylor students Samara Crouse, Jonyca Jiao and Carmen Ross will provide harmony vocals.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.

All proceeds will benefit the Jamaica Education Fund, which supports educational needs for children in Kingston, Jamaica.
