JJ's Bohemia is turning 12 this weekend and everyone is invited to the party.
A two-day birthday bash is planned to mark the anniversary. The party starts at JJ's, 231 E. M.L. King Blvd., on Friday, Oct. 19, at 12:30 p.m. when SunSap, Behold the Brave, Forest Fire Gospel Choir and Stoned Cold Fox will play. Tickets are $10.
But the club pulls out the big guns for Saturday's Birthday Blowout, with 12 bands in 12 hours. There will also be free beer from noon to 1 p.m.
Beginning at noon on Saturday, Oct. 20, a new band will take the stage on each hour. Performances, although not in this order, will be given by Lew Card, Folk Killer, Tourist Trap, Pleezure Management, Justin and the Cosmics, Pinky Doodle Poodle, Handsome Grandsons, Cloak, Shakey's Bad Knee, Dumpster Babies, Bohannons and Monomath.
