Gem Theater hosts quartet of tribute artists this Saturday

R&M Tribute Entertainment returns to Gem Theater in Etowah, Tennessee, for a night of performances by a quartet of tribute artists who will present the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline along with some humor by Jeff Foxworthy.

The show is set for Saturday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at the theater, 700 Tennessee Avenue in Etowah.

Here are the Tennesseans who will be onstage:

» Ronnie Miller of Maryville: Miller is a professional Elvis tribute artist, entertainer, singer and performer. He has won several local and national singing awards and has been inducted into national Elvis organizations. He is also a Johnny Cash tribute artist.

» Brandon E of Athens: After developing a love for Elvis and his music at an early age, Brandon performed Elvis tributes in venues all over the Southeast. He earned recognition in the 2017 Smoky Mountain Elvis Contest held in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The singer will perform music of the '70s in this show.

» Jamie Simpson of Townsend: Known as the No. 1 Jeff Foxworthy impersonator in the world, he has met and performed with the real Foxworthy and currently travels the country doing a tribute to the comedian. He has performed at theaters in and around Pigeon Forge for decades.

» Makenna Harmon of Seymour: She performs tributes to Loretta Lynn, June Carter Cash and Patsy Cline. She was named the 2018 Entertainer of the Year and Vocalist of the Year in traditional country music in the North American Country Music Association International.

Reserved seats are $20, general admission are $15. Youth 6-12 years old are $7; ages 5 and younger are free.

Tickets are available in Etowah at the L&N Depot Museum and Etowah Community Center. They may be purchased at the door an hour before the show or by calling 865-684-6082.
