The annual Road to Nightfall battle of the bands starts Friday, Feb. 22, in The Granfalloon, 400 E. Main St. Six bands will compete in five preliminary rounds.
The winner of each preliminary will compete in the finals on March 9 at Songbirds for $1,000 and a headlining spot in the Nightfall summer concert series.
Doors open at Granfalloon at 7 p.m. for each preliminary, with music starting at 8.
Tickets are $10 at the door.
Competing Friday will be Oweda, shown, Lew Card, No Thank You John, Glass Caps, Good Grief and Pluto's Advantage.
Acts competing Saturday, Feb. 23, will be Fresh Mind, Sleazy Sleazy, Aaron Carney Band, Westfall, The Trinity and Webb Barringer.
