Flute Choir presents 'Water Music' on June 9

The Chattanooga Area Flute Society Flute Choir will present "Water Music," a concert of music about "all things watery" on Sunday, June 9, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 822 Belvoir Ave., at 3 p.m.

Joining them for the free concert will be Bret Alford on string bass. Music will include transcriptions of Handel's "Water Music Suite," "Singin' in the Rain," "The Blue Danube," "Under the Sea" from "The Little Mermaid," as well as original works.

CAFS is directed by Nora Kile and assistant conductor Sandy Morris, who is also a flutist with the group.
