Eat fried catfish and listen to music during the Bluegrass Jamboree at Harrison Ruritan Club on Saturday

New Grass Express will be among the featured acts at this month's Bluegrass Jamboree, scheduled 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Harrison Ruritan Club, 5709 Tyner Lane (across from Central High School).

Members of the band, which plays a mix of traditional and modern bluegrass, are Steve Snyder (mandolin/Dobro), Christy Tankersley (banjo), Steven Graham (lead vocals and guitar/bass and Barry Simpson (lead guitar).

Other local artists on the bill are Old Time Strings, Folk Music Store Band and the Foggy Memory Boys.

Concessions including fried catfish are served up in the club's country kitchen.

Admission is free, but donations to community projects are welcome.
