After five nights of preliminary competition, the winners of those rounds are ready to compete for a headlining gig in Nightfall summer concert series.
The Road to Nightfall wraps up on Saturday, March 9, in a battle of the bands at 9 p.m. at Songbirds, 35 Station St. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Finalists are Oweda, Aaron Carney Band, The Fridge, 3's Company and Josh Driver Band. They will be judged by a panel of music industry experts.
The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize in addition to the Nightfall show. The runner- up will earn $500; and all of the remaining four finalists will be booked as openers for one of the headlining acts.
