Rapper, hip-hop artist and social media celebrity King Harris will take the stage at Songbirds South, 35 Station St., at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14.
The son of musical talents Tip "T.I. " Harris and Tameka Harris, the rapper wasn't sure whether to follow in their footsteps until the death of one of his idols, rapper XXXTentacion, made him realize he wanted to pursue music.
He released his first single through SoundCloud, which became a hit after being widely shared by friends and fans.
In March, he released the single "Drip."
He now has more than 500,000 followers on his Instagram account.
