Singer-songwriter Janelle Arthur will perform a mixture of covers and original numbers at Puckett's, 2 W. Aquarium Way, on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.
Joining her in the free concert will be Mark Kelly Hall, former Chattanoogan now based in Nashville.
Arthur, a native of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, came in fifth on Season 12 of "American Idol."
As a child, she played young Dolly Parton in a Pigeon Forge stage show and, last month, was part of a special Opry Country Classics tribute to Parton.
She has played the Opry multiple times and opened for Craig Morgan and Rascal Flatts.
