Their differences are apparent. He's 5-foot-6 standing on tiptoe. She's 6-foot-2 with her hair mashed down. He grew up swapping homespun stories in the hills of eastern Kentucky. She's a former Miss Carolina who finds humor in everyday life.

SAVE THE DATECan't make it Tuesday? Carl Hurley and Jeanne Robertson will bring their Double Funny show to the Rome (Ga.) Civic Auditorium on March 15.

On Tuesday, Carl Hurley and Jeanne Robertson will count on the trait they have in common -- making people laugh -- when they team up for a show designed exclusively for senior adults at the Tivoli Theatre.

Both performers, who mine comic gold from their day-to-day experiencess, are featured on the comedy channels of Sirius/XM satellite radio. Both have worked as convention speakers.

Hurley has 15 comedy recordings and is the author of a book about growing up in Appalachia titled "We Weren't Poor... We Just Didn't Have Any Money."

Robertson has released six DVDs, three books and has logged more than 8 million hits on YouTube, including more than 3.5 million for her "Don't Send a Man to the Grocery Store" story about her husband, Jerry, better known as "Left Brain," for his different way of thinking.
