Chattanooga Zoo hosts its family-friendly Halloween party Boo In the Zoo beginning Friday, Oct. 20, through Sunday, Oct. 29. Party hours are 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 20-22 and 27-29 at the zoo, 301 N. Holtzclaw Ave.
Boo In the Zoo is a non-scary, costume party for children and their parents. Boys and ghouls can enjoy trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, games and inflatables. Food may be purchased on-site from Wild Burger, Dippin' Dots or snack carts.
This year's spooktacular offers animal meet-and-greets, photo-ops with costume characters, a scavenger hunt through the zoo, hay rides, carousel rides, pony rides, face painting and a toddler play area. And, of course, candy at the trick-or-treat stations.
Tickets are $10 members or $15 nonmembers for everyone ages 3 and older.
