Puckett's Gro. & Restaurant will host its Nurses Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, in the downtown restaurant at 2 W. Aquarium Way.

Nurses who attend the event in their scrubs or who present their medical ID badge will be able to enjoy a breakfast buffet with pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit and yogurt for a special $6.99 price. Event-priced cocktails and drinks will be also be offered, and country artist Jon Scott will entertain.

Foster Yates, Puckett's general manager, says he has received positive feedback from nurses regarding past Nurses Breakfast celebrations, which has been a Puckett's tradition since fall 2016. He said that the restaurant looks forward to rewarding those who serve the community on a daily basis.

"Nurses might not have the option to head to happy hour after work, because they're typically just starting their long shifts," Yates said. "We love seeing them come in wearing their scrubs and watching them be able to relax and enjoy music and a meal with their friends."

Additional Nurses Breakfasts in 2018 will take place during Nurses Week starting May 7, on Monday, Oct. 29, and the week of Christmas. More details regarding these events will follow.
