Join classic car enthusiasts to view restored cars and other special-interest vehicles lining the streets of downtown Cleveland, Tennessee, when the 18th season of the MainStreet Cruise-In opens Saturday, April 27.

The cruise-in will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on the streets around the courthouse square. It is free to enter a vehicle and free to spectators.

Visitors are encouraged to stroll the streets, shop, have dinner in one of the local restaurants and enjoy specialty foods such as funnel cakes, kettle corn and fried apple pies from vendors. Music from the 1950s, '60s and '70s will fill the air, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere.

A swap meet will be held in the parking lot on Broad Street, south of Inman Street. Spaces are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

MainStreet Cruise-In has grown by an average of 20% in the number of cruisers attending over the past few years. Last season, nearly 600 vehicles a month lined the courthouse square and surrounding streets with some participants traveling from several hours away.

The cruise-ins will be held the fourth Saturday of each month through October.
