The confetti and streamers have been swept up, the champagne bottles emptied. What will you do for entertainment this weekend?

Why not join local history buff Delilah Taylor for some new year spirits of a different sort: a Haunted Pub Crawl.

These pub crawls are held Friday and Saturday nights, meeting in front of the Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway, at 6:30 p.m. Participants must be 21 or older and bring a valid ID.

"We visit four local pubs, and each one has its own haunted ghost tale. We also give them a lot of history because each of the buildings is historic," says Taylor. People on the tour hear a chilling tale at each, but a drink purchase is optional, not included in the price.

The tour starts at Honest Pint, heads over to Georgia Avenue to Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint (formerly Yesterday's), moves up Cherry Street to Chattanooga Billiard Club before winding up on Chestnut Street at Bode (the old Clement's Furniture building).

Guests will hear about:

* BuBu, the concierge ghost who moves things when you aren't looking.

* Ole Willy, who still sends chills up the spines of bartenders.

* The Ice Hole Ghost or the Dark Lady roaming the balcony of one local haunt.

Plus, the tour will explore an alley where apparitions from the underground still walk the cobblestone street, and will uncover the story of firefighters battling a blaze for over a century.

Tours conclude about 9 p.m. Tickets are $19.99 and may be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/haunted-pub-crawl-chattanooga-tickets-85491026963.
