Adventure awaits at Ruby Falls' Christmas Underground

Celebrate Christmas on a magical interactive journey to visit Santa at Christmas Underground. The adventure starts Sunday, Dec. 1, at Ruby Falls on Lookout Mountain.

Visitors will travel a secret cavern passage to the North Pole and Joystone City, where they will discover a glittering ice cave, swirling snow flurries, Sugar Plum Fairy Village, Penguin Palace, Polar Creek and sparkling geodes.

The Joystone Express model train is a new addition this season. It chugs through the charming, snow-capped miniature replica of Ruby Falls Village and Joystone City. Stroll through Joystone City's Main Street and admires its whimsical additions decked in yuletide splendor.

A digital photo with Santa and all activities are included with admission to Christmas Underground.

Returning for its sixth year, Christmas Underground was selected as a 2019 Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.
