The Chattanooga Zoo is holding its most spooktacular event of the year, Boo in the Zoo, on Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 18-19 and 25-26. The Halloween party will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night at the zoo, 301 N. Holtzclaw Ave.

Boo in the Zoo is a nonscary family event for one all-inclusive price of $10 for zoo members, $15 nonmembers and free for children ages 2 and younger. From hay rides and face painting to a scavenger hunt and costume contests, there is plenty to keep the family entertained.

Included with the new, all-inclusive pricing is Halloween-themed animal enrichment, a scavenger hunt throughout the zoo, a costume contest, trick-or-treat stations, meeting some of the zoo's ambassador animals and photos with favorite costumed characters. Other activities include bounce houses, games, crafts, pony rides and hay rides.
