EGG HUNTS FOR DOGS

That's right - there is more than one occasion to celebrate Easter with your pooch in Chattanooga this year. Dogs like to hunt, and they look cute wearing any sort of costume: what more could you ask for?

Easter Egg Hunt for Pooches - April 12

Dogs can hunt for canine-friendly eggs, enter a contest (categories include owner-dog look-alike and best costume), try an agility course, and enjoy treats. People food will also be served. Funds go to Safe Haven Animal Rescue Program in Polk County.

Doggie Spring Egg Hunt - April 12

McKamey Animal Center's Doggie Egg Hunt features eggs filled with dog treats and prizes for the pets. Entry is $5 or two cans of dog or cat food.

Fifi & Fido's Easter Bonnet Parade - April 16

Force your pet into an adorable costume, and if they're deemed cutest pet, you could win a pet-lovers gift basket from Barnes & Noble.

Chattanooga Choo Choo

Easter buffet with antipasto, salads, appetizers, a pasta station, a carving station, and additional buffets with side dishes and other entrees. Kids have their own buffet.

Porter's Steakhouse

Easter brunch at Porter's will feature sustainable seafood, beef brisket, carved prime beef rib eye, apple smoked ham, salad and dessert, as well as a buffet for kids, who will eat for free.
