In the past few summers, frosé - essentially a slushy made with rosé wine - has pretty much taken over as the official drink of the season. Less sweet than typical warm-weather cocktails, frosé is a refreshing summer sipper that makes a great poolside or patio companion.

Easy Bistro's version is the best in town - and among the top 10 frosé cocktails in the country, according to women's lifestyle website REFINERY29. One thing that makes it uniquely amazing is the way it's served, on made-to-order shaved ice, says bar manager Alex Howell.

"It's a surprisingly refreshing, light, Sno-Cone-like cocktail," he says of the drink, which also benefits from the high-quality ingredients used, including a dry Provence rosé (Easy Bistro uses Mont Gravet) and local Tennessee strawberries. "All of that makes for a good-tasting, balanced cocktail that's good for this time of year."
