High Point camps teach kids about rock climbing and team building. Our staff is dedicated to teaching the basics of climbing, including equipment usage, climbing techniques, and the importance of trust and communication. These camps encourage kids to find new ways of approaching climbing through age-appropriate group instruction. Everyone will finish climbing camps with a sense of self-confidence and accomplishment. Each weeklong session includes rental gear, 4 hours of games, instruction and, of course, climbing each day. One day also includes a trip to the Creative Discovery Museum for younger climbers, and a trip to the Tennessee Aquarium for the older group. A healthy snack and drink will be provided each day. Townsend Atelier is offering five different 1-week sessions for ages 6-15. Each session is thoughtfully designed and taught by professional artists and art educators. Age-appropriate, educational and fun, each day camp is chock-full of a variety of art techniques and materials ranging from painting to drawing to sculpture to printmaking and more.
