Who's your favorite "Game of Thrones" character?

My favorite character is one of the dragons. (There are dragons, right?) Because even though I've never seen the show, I gather Jon Snow is not someone to admire, and he is the only character whose name I know.

Who would you have put on the Iron Throne?

This is a tough one. Is the Iron Throne a good or bad place to be?

Last book you read and/or show you binge-watched?

The last really good book I read was "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe. Although not new, it is a reminder about what can be achieved when you have great people working toward a really big goal. I'm also reading "Harry Potter" with my kids, which I assume is exactly like "Game of Thrones."

If you ruled the world (or Chattanooga), what would you change?

If I ruled Chattanooga, my focus would be on our schools. There are some great things going on in Hamilton County and we need those things to expand faster so more kids can take advantage of them. I'm grateful to work for a company that does so much to support education in our community.

Who would be on your advisory council?

My advisory council is my wife and a group of friends I've had since middle school. You can always count on people who know where you came from to keep you honest.

What drives you professionally and/or personally?

Professionally, I'm the most motivated when I'm working on something that pushes me out of my comfort zone. Jumping into a situation that is new or undefined and working with a team to get results is extremely satisfying.

What's one thing you'd really like to accomplish? Has that goal changed over the years?

The best thing I can accomplish over the next 20 years is to raise two kind and confident children. I should probably also watch "Game of Thrones" to be better prepared for Chatter interviews.
