Owners: Business guru Phil Windham, who owns Chattanooga Billiard Club, and tech wizard Jeremy Reece, who owns repair service Computer Re-Nu in Hixson.
Date opened: February 2017
Location: Inside Chattanooga Billiard Club's east location at 110 Jordan Drive
Games: Inspired by Pints and Pixels in Huntsville, Ala., this '80s-style barcade is a blast from the past housing about 50 games. Skee-Ball, air hockey and the selection of shooter games are among the most popular offerings, Reece said, but guests can also get their game on with classics like pinball and Pac-Man, as well as a number of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One titles.
Tournaments: On Saturdays, I'm Game hosts foosball tournaments for those looking to test their skills. The barcade has also hosted a few console video game tournaments and plans to host a few more in the future. "People want competition," said Windham. "I know [at] home you can play with somebody across the country, but if you're sitting next to somebody it just adds a little something else to it."
Food: The food menu is jam-packed with guilty pleasures from pizza and chili to brownies dripping with hot fudge. Windham says the crème de la crème, however, are the Signature Berserk Burger, whose patty is ground and pressed in-house, and the colorfully named Koopa Troopa Tenders. (Windham assures that none of the Super Mario turtles were harmed in the making of these delicious chicken fingers.)
Drinks: I'm Game offers a full bar with any fuel you might need to turn your single-player campaign into a multiplayer adventure.
Freebies: Visitors can score two to four free tokens for games by buying a beer in the billiard club or liking and sharing I'm Game on Facebook while at the barcade.
Hours: Every day from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
