Navy League salutes outstanding service

Petty Officer John Waters from the USNSCC Chattanooga Division is awarded the Navy League Theodore Roosevelt Medal and Ribbon by Vice President/Youth Program Director Stacy Kehoe. The Navy League Theodore Roosevelt Medal is awarded to a cadet who exemplifies in the areas of honor, courage and commitment within their home unit and is recommended by their commanding officer.

Every year, the Greater Chattanooga Navy League Council holds a special awards night for the youth programs it sponsors: the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps and the Naval Junior Reserves Officers Training Corps.
