Finding a place to park during peak hours at Coolidge Park is no longer an issue for customers of Beast + Barrel and Sushi Nabe, which recently partnered to offer valet service to their customers.

The service - the only valet parking service in Coolidge Park - was added to provide easier access to patrons visiting the two restaurants, said Beast + Barrel owner Matt Lewis.

"For the style of restaurant we have, it makes sense," Lewis said of his upscale gastropub. "People loved it the first time we did it five years ago."

Beast + Barrel originally offered valet service on Frazier Avenue when the restaurant opened, but the service was shut down by city of Chattanooga because of the high amount of traffic in that area, said Lewis.

The new, city-approved valet is set up in the parking lot off River Street, which runs between Beast + Barrel and Sushi Nabe.

The service is available for a $5 fee on weeknights from 5-10 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
