Two Rivers Church and the Ooltewah Elementary School PTA recently hosted a "Small Tall Ball" at the school for students and their parents.

About 450 people attended the event, which Two Rivers wanted to organize as a way to give back to the community and the families of the school while promoting one of the church's core values: spending time with family, said Katie Dees, office manager for Two Rivers Church.

The event featured a disco ball dance floor, a DJ, confetti cannons, a candy bar, popcorn, a red carpet entrance, photo booth, glow stick bracelets and necklaces, and a craft station where each child could make a craft to bring home. A dance-off between Hootie, the school's owl mascot, and the Chick-fil-A cow was a highlight of the evening.
