Bike Chattanooga celebrated its seventh summer of operation Wednesday, July 24 with the launch of its 42nd station at Tatum Park in Highland Park.

Attendees had the opportunity to take one of Bike Chattanooga's e-bikes for a spin while enjoying food and drink provided by the Highland Park Neighborhood Association. Guests then set out on a neighborhood group ride with free use of pedal and e-bikes from the e-station through Bike Chattanooga's Free Ride Wednesday Summer Series.

Every Wednesday this summer through August, people can try out Bike Chattanooga with a free 24-hour pass for unlimited 60-minute station-to-station trips while the pass is active.

Check the CycleFinder app (free from the App Store and Google Play) to see all of the station locations.

Bike Chattanooga now has 55 e-bikes available, and stations with e-bikes are indicated on the CycleFinder app with a green station marker. Select a station to see the number of available e-bikes, listed with a circular lightning bolt, and purchase passes.
