Walker County senior citizens donned their best for the Walker County Senior Citizen Prom on Nov. 8. Over 100 seniors gathered for a night of dancing hosted by Ray Wallin, a Chickamauga-based DJ of KicknitDJs.

Wallin began the annual prom four years ago with the help of local senior centers, but the event was canceled in 2018 due to a lack of funding.

Under Wallin's leadership, this year, residents and businesses sponsored tickets to pay for the bulk of the catering, centerpieces and decorations to make the event free for county seniors.
