Home Slice Pizza is pizza for real pizza-lovers.
Served on crust that’s thicker than a thin crust, each pie features three cheeses and a massive amount of toppings.
“Most of our pizzas have at least four toppings,” said Josiah Johnson, general manager.
Take the “Meat Monster,” for instance, topped with nearly a pound of ingredients: pepperoni, ground beef, spicy Italian sausage, smoked ham and bacon bits. But even with its vegetarian counterpart, “Reggie the Veggie,” Home Slice doesn’t skimp on toppings; the pie is loaded with bell peppers, spinach, banana peppers, black olives, mushrooms and diced onions.
“We have the best bang for the buck,” said Josiah. “People see they can get a large specialty pizza, an order of garlic knots, a pound of wings and a 2-liter for $25.”
And the restaurant’s wings, like its pizza, go above and beyond: jumbo-sized, deep-fried and served in one of Home Slice’s eight house-made wing sauces. In addition to wings and pies, its menu also showcases subs and sandwiches as well as vegan and gluten-free pizza.
