The property, located just off Interstate-24 via the Fourth Street exit, is now privately held, according to Lisa A. Brown of Keller Williams Realty. Most of the site, which has three interconnected buildings, has been vacant for about 15 years, she said.
Constructed in the early 1950s, it held administrative offices and barracks and was maintained by the Army.
The location has 27 various-sized offices or classrooms, three large multi-fixture restrooms, a kitchen, boiler room and a firing range. Also, there is a large garage and shop with a tall roll-up door. Another building holds four additional classroom-type spaces. A second floor has hardwood floors.
A chain-link fence surrounds the property with the exception of the front building and front lawn.
Brown said that potential uses include offices and mini-warehouses.
