Who is on the move?

Tony Kirkland, Jr, is named new vice president and regional credit officer for SmartBank in Chattanooga. Kirkland previously served as community investment capital debt products manager for Regions Bank in Chattanooga. In his new role, Kirkland will oversee the Chattanooga credit team.

Brent Jolly is named manager in the audit department of LBMC. Jolly joined LBMC in 2014 after serving as assistant coach for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's men's basketball team. He holds his bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University and his MBA from UTC.

Dacey Cockrill joins Eric Buchanan and Associates as an associate attorney. Cockrill graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and has worked for the firm for over three years as both a client assistant and a law clerk.

Erik Ewing, M.D., joins CHI Memorial Family Practice Associates - Harrison. Dr. Ewing received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Ewing is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Emily Brandt, a board-certified physician in general pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics, is the medical director for the Center for Developmental Pediatrics of Siskin Children's Institute. An assistant professor, Brandt also holds the title of interim division chief of developmental and behavioral pediatrics at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga. Brandt received her bachelor's degree in music from Southern Adventist University and her medical degree from Loma Linda University's School of Medicine.

Natasha Childs is the new resident inspector at TVA's Sequoyah nuclear power plant. Childs joined the NRC in 2008 as a project engineer in the resident inspector development program in Atlanta. She successfully completed the Resident Inspector Qualification Program and was the resident inspector at the Crystal River nuclear power plant in Florida until she was assigned to the Oconee facility in South Carolina in 2013. Prior to joining the NRC, Childs spent eight years working as a design engineer and system engineer at the Palisades nuclear power plant in Michigan and the Watts Bar nuclear power plant in Tennessee.

Ryan Gray is named a relationship manager at FirstBank's Manchester financial center. In his new role, Prior to joining FirstBank, Gray served as both an agent and broker at Insure Health LLC and at Continental Health Alliance. Gray also served as the director of operations at Urbanvest Realty Corp.

Raymond (Andy) Gibson is promoted to senior vice president of workplace solutions claims at Mutual of Omaha. He provides strategic oversight of claims for group product lines and manages Mutual of Omaha's claims processing office in Chattanooga. Gibson joined Mutual in 2016 as a vice president of group claims. Prior to joining Mutual, he was with Unum Group, where he served for 13 years in various leadership positions.

Laura DiBiase joins the law firm of Miller & Martin as an associate in the Atlanta office. DiBiase focuses her practice on assisting clients navigate a variety of creditors' rights and insolvency matters, including workouts, bankruptcies, enforcement actions, and other related business concerns. Prior to joining the Firm, DiBiase clerked for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge James R. Sacca in Atlanta.

Lauren Sherrell Kaywood joins Pinnacle Financial Partners' trust services group as senior vice presidents and trust services advisors. Kaywood comes to Pinnacle from O'Shaughnessy & Carter, PLLC, where she was attorney of counsel working with estate planning, litigation, and residential and commercial real estate transactions. Previously she was an attorney with the Wooden Law Firm.
