The VFW building, raised in 1990, is easily visible. The tract has 610 feet of road frontage and is located near the busy Lee Highway-Vance Road intersection.
In the future, the property is seen as mixed use such as holding a restaurant, street retail space or another commercial business, according to the broker.
Economy Honda plans to move from its longtime home on the so-called "auto row" off Highway 153 and into a new store at the site of the former East Brainerd Lumber Co.
Work on that 17-acre tract at 6001 Lee Highway is underway with the new dealership holding 70,000 square feet of space, including more than 50 service bays.
