Harry Hawkins joins Barge Design Solutions, Inc. as a client service leader in the firm's Chattanooga office. Hawkins has nearly 35 years of experience in civil engineering and commercial construction, including more than 20 years of serving clients in the Chattanooga and North Georgia region. He earned a bachelor of civil engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Hawkins previously served as Chattanooga Office Manager for Terracon Consulting.
Jason Lloyd is named vice president of BlueCare Plus, the BlueCare Tennessee program serving individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid services. Lloyd oversees all aspects of BlueCare's dual special needs program, including marketing, clinical quality, claims, benefits and reporting. Lloyd has more than two decades of health care industry experience, serving in multiple roles at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for 18 of those years.
Dr. Robert Evan Levy joins the team at Chattanooga Eye Institute. Levy is an oculoplastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive procedures including eyelid lifts, cancer reconstruction, tear duct surgery, and orbital surgery. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Levy completed his residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and an oculoplastics/orbit/neuro fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Jesse Tucker, M.D., MPH, joins the Buz Standefer Lung Center at CHI Memorial. Dr. Tucker received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center where he also completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Tucker also holds a master's degree in public health in epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health.
Aaron Pannell joins The Grant, Konvalinka and Harrison, P.C. law firm as an associate. Pannell is a native of Verona, Mississippi. He is a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2017. Tim Hewitt joins the law firm of Logan-Thompson, P.C. Hewitt received his law degree from the University of Mississippi in 2013 and has served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Knox County Public Defender's Community Law Office for the past six years. Hewitt graduated from McCallie School in Chattanooga in 2005 and obtained his B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Mississippi in 2009.
Daniel S. Krcelic, MD, joins the medical staff of Vascular Institute of Chattanooga (VIC). Dr. Krcelic, a vascular surgeon, received his medical degree from St. George University School of Medicine. He joins Drs. Christopher LeSar, Joseph Coatti and Mark Fugate at VIC, the first such facility of its kind in the region focused on amputation prevention.
Kay Mitchell joins Southern Heritage Bank's mortgage loan and real estate division as mortgage loan originator for East Tennessee. Mitchell attended Chadron State College before beginning her banking career in 2001. She has held various positions within the industry, including branch manager, sales supervisor and mortgage loan officer.
Kelly Barlew has been named vice president of medical services for North American Credit Services. Since joining the company in 1986, she served in various administrative roles, including director of administration prior to her new appointment.
