* History: Lady Bug Exterminating is owned and operated by Ola Phipps, who opened the business in 1982. Phipps, a native of Mississippi, came to Chattanooga in 1973 to work for a chain of pizza restaurants. An acquaintance who worked for ABC Exterminating suggested she talk to the owner, who hired her. Phipps developed the name of her business when her clients called her "the bug lady" when she showed up for jobs. She turned the name around, and grew it into a memorable brand that she uses for every aspect of her business. Phipps has been a member of the Chattanooga Area Pest Control Association for 40 years.

* Products: Lady Bug Exterminating offers a range of pest control services, including non-odorous residual chemical spray, baiting, wasp and hornet spray, foggers, rodent, flea and tick control.

* Mission: Phipps stands on the belief that self-confidence, enthusiasm, communication and customer satisfaction yield great results. Her motto is "get the job done right the very first time."
