* History: In 2007, Chattanooga native Darlene Brown decided Chattanooga was missing something – a locally owned, woman-led real estate brokerage. With seven Realtors, Real Estate Partners Chattanooga LLC was born in a small downtown office. The company quickly outgrew their space and moved into a 5,000-square-foot office. Soon after, they opened an East office off Shallowford Road and then an office on Signal Mountain. Today, Real Estate Partners is under renovation on a new building for their East office with plans for growth downtown, as well.
* Mission: Real Estate Partners Chattanooga has over 140 Realtors in the Greater Chattanooga Area and North Georgia areas. They operate with the belief that "dream homes belong to all of us" and work with everyone from first-time homebuyers, and investors to downsizers and relocators. The company also has agents who specialize in new construction homes, short- and long-term rentals and commercial space. Brown recently announced an alliance with two residential real estate heavy-hitters – Parks in Murfreesboro and Village in Nashville – to form a network of independent, locally owned real estate companies across the Southeast. While Real Estate Partners remains locally owned, this alliance brings advances in technology and training to their Realtors, and allows them to pass on these advantages to their clients.
