Grant Evitts is named president of Tennessee American Water. Evitts has been with American Water for more than 30 years, holding positions in both Illinois and Missouri. He has been serving as the interim president of Tennessee American Water since October 2020. Prior to that role, Evitts served as vice president of Operations for Missouri American Water, where he led Water Quality, Field Operations, Production and Maintenance teams that provide high-quality and reliable water and wastewater services to approximately 1.5 million people across the mid-western state. Prior to his vice president of Operations role, Evitts served as the senior director of Field Operations and Production in St. Louis, where he led more than 450 employees.

Fred S. Clelland joins the law firm of Warren and Griffin, P.C. Clelland has practiced law in Chattanooga for 30 years. He brings a wealth of experience to the firm's litigation practice. While born in Michigan, Fred moved to Tennessee when he was five years old, and Tennessee is his home. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in psychology and went on to the University of Tennessee Law School where he received his law degree and MBA in 1990.

Jerry Weaver is the new director of sales for the newly opened The McLemore Club located on Lookout Mountain. Beginning his career as a sales manager based in Pittsburgh, Weaver grew the markets he served to produce over $21 million annually in just over seven years. During this time, he rose to become Global Account Director with Starwood Hotels where he marketed over 1,600 hotels. Before coming to McLemore, Weaver spent five years in the Metro Washington, D.C. area. Weaver received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from California University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife are the parents of two grown daughters.

Dara Carroll is named director of Life Care Centers of America's Public Relations department. Formerly the senior publications specialist for the Public Relations department, Carroll now leads a team of professionals who are key in effectively disseminating the communication efforts of the corporate office and Life Care facilities nationwide. In addition to contributing to the company's fundraising and digital media efforts, she oversees the production of corporate and facility marketing collateral, two magazines and direct mail recruitment. She also plays a key role in media and community relations. Carroll graduated from Lee College (now University) with a bachelor's degree in English and minor in communication. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Memphis. Before joining Life Care as its coordinator of publications in 2007, Carroll was the editor for Church of God World Missions. Prior to that, she spent several years in higher education.

Josh R. Singh is named to the leadership team at the Bethlehem Center as director of strategic operations. Singh brings more than 10 years of marketing, project management, and organizational leadership experience to The Bethlehem Center, a faith-based, non-profit organization that has been working to transform the lives of thousands of men, women and children through education, discipleship and leadership development for more than a century. Singh earned degrees in physics, psychology and divinity, and has served startups, Fortune 500 companies and a marketing firm during his career in Atlanta and Chattanooga. Prior to joining The Bethlehem Center, he served as the Director of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at local non-profit UnifiEd.

Benjamin "B.J." Wilkerson joins Crye-Leike's Downtown Chattanooga branch office as a licensed Realtor. Wilkerson will serve the residential real estate needs of buyers and sellers throughout Hamilton and surrounding counties. Wilkerson graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in business management and has since worked as a sales representative for a local agriculture business. He said he has been exposed to the real estate industry his entire life due to his mother being a realtor and said he knew that one day he would want to do the same.

Heather Tussing is named executive vice president of operations for Morning Pointe Senior Living. In her new role, Tussing is responsible for operations management of all Morning Pointe communities. Prior to joining Morning Pointe, Tussing served as vice president of assisted living operations for a national senior living company. She started her career in senior living as an executive director, and has held senior leadership roles in compliance, quality improvement, healthcare sales and marketing through the years — making her well suited to lead a strong commitment to quality care at Morning Pointe. Additionally, Tussing is an assisted living preceptor and holds certifications as an assisted living administrator in multiple states as well as dementia certifications including CDP, CADDCT and Virtual Dementia Tour facilitator. She obtained her bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Kentucky.

Lyndy Clementson joins Market Street Partners, LLC as manager of human resources. Clementson, a certified professional human resources specialist, has led human resources initiatives in policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance, HRIS implementations, employee relations, HR workflow development, and benefits administration.

Lee Jackson, MD, is named physician advisor and medical director of care management for CHI Memorial, in addition to his role as medical director of surgery services. Jackson serves as a consultant and resource for attending physicians regarding hospitalization appropriateness, inpatient or observation status, resource utilization, regulatory requirements and length of stay management. Additionally, as a physician advisor, he will serve an important role as liaison to coding, documentation specialists, medical records and third-party payers when necessary. To accomplish these endeavors, Jackson will no longer see patients in the clinic or perform surgery effective Dec. 1, 2020. Patients will be cared for by Jackson's colleagues at CHI Memorial Urology Associates.

Hannah Thomas, FNP-BC, joins CHI Memorial Convenient Care – Atrium with CHI Memorial Medical group. Thomas earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tenn. She then completed a master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from Tennessee State University in Nashville. Thomas is an advanced registered nurse practitioner and certified family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
