Sales of new vehicles declined 3.7% last year but remained more than 30% above the last economic downturn during the Great Recession a decade ago. Truck sales in Hamilton County rose in 2020 by 1.6%, but car sales fell to the lowest level in modern history and less than a third of the volume of car sales 25 years ago.
